Our Story
How the Intuition Process has fueled our philanthropic passion
Hi, my name is Suparna Bhasin-Cooper, and I am so excited to introduce you to the Intuition Process. This work has so deeply inspired myself and my husband, Peter. Here’s our story:
In March of 2017, our philanthropic mission took an interesting turn that has ignited us with a passion to share like never before.
What initially seemed like a routine visit for Peter at the Art of Living International Center, Bangalore to view our philanthropic work, suddenly turned into an awe inspiring and course shifting event, when Rugmani, the woman we support, shared that she would like to show him something extraordinary and unique…

The Birth of Intuition Project
Peter saw something on this fateful day so awe inspiring, and unexpected that it shifted the trajectory of our focus. We believe this is something that can impact the world in a way like nothing we’ve encountered before.
Rugmani Prabhakar pulled a 10 year old girl out of class and sat them both down at a table. She offered Peter a black-out blindfold and asked him to please try it on. He did so and acknowledged that he could not see a thing, it was truly a blackout blindfold with padding around the eyes so no light or vision whatsoever could come in.
The girl then took the blindfold and wore it. The instructor pulled out a set of colored cards. As Peter put his hand on a card, the girl put her hand on his hand, and she was able to identify and call out each color on the card.
Then Peter drew a picture, and the girl replicated exactly the same picture. while still fully blindfolded. Finally, Peter pulled a book out of his book bag, shared the book with the girl and the girl opened the book and read lines from it while fully blindfolded.
As you can imagine, Peter was astonished as he felt our current scientific understanding of human perception subverted and challenged by what he had directly experienced with this 10 year old girl. His mind swirled with thoughts of how the development of this kind of extraordinary perception could impact the world.
After Peter shared the experience with me, it lingered in both our consciousness as something meaningful that we were meant to support in a deeper way.
An interrupted start…
One year later, Gurudev showcased Intuition Process in the West and put it on stage in July of 2018 at a large event in San Jose, California where I saw it for the first time as well.
The bigger plan for the West was to wait for independent research to be done before rolling it out in a meaningful way.
We are so happy to report, through the Hearts and Minds Initiative with Cooper Investors, we are funding a piece of research with Professor Joel Pearson at UNSW in Sydney (see the research page to learn more).

Current Progress
In 2022 as the world finally opened up again, we had a busy year with two weddings – one in Hawaii with immediate family only, and the second larger one at the Art of Living International Center, Bangalore where Peter initially was introduced to the incredible potential of the Intuition Process. We were overjoyed to be able to share this incredible work with dear friends and family as we hosted a demonstration of the Intuition Process, similar to the one Peter saw, with our guests during their visit for the wedding.
In Novemeber of 2022 we decided to bring this to our larger community at home in Melbourne, Australia. We hosted a big event at a local venue and showcased this work with International guests from the USA and India.
We also hosted some private events and demonstrations and the ball was rolling! Many people agreed with us and saw the potential for their children and families to benefit from this program.
In March of 2023, Vennela Nandury from the Art of Living International Center, Bangalore (one of the first teachers to teach this work) conducted programs for the community. We personally invited 20 families with 30 children to this course. Many of these families are new to the Art of Living and are people of impact and influence to help us demonstrate what is possible with people around them that may have significant reach. The tour was wildly successful demonstrating to everyone that this is possible for everyone’s children not just a select few.
In June of 2023 Mala Sundareshan, the Director of Children and Teens desk globally, to lead more courses across the country.
